Working in balance

1. Health and exercise

Make it a daily challenge to find ways to move your body. You do not necessarily have one hour to the port school. Take the stairs, walk your dog, chase your kids or mowing the grass. Make that 30 minutes daily strenuous move.

2. Health and fat

Avoid fried foods, burgers and fatty meat (pork, bacon, ham, salami, ribs and sausage). Choose from dairy products like cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream for a low-fat. Eat nuts and meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces to a limited extent.

3. Health and smoking do not mix!

4. Tension, stress and health

Think positive! Spend 30 minutes every day to do something you like, go to the beach or park, read a good book, visiting a friend, play with your dog, listen to music or get a massage. Meditate. Avoid difficult people as much as possible.

5. Protect yourself from pollution

If you are not in a smog-free environment to live, then at least avoid smoky areas.

6. Wear your seatbelt

Statistics show that wearing seat belts can increase your lifespan and reduce potential injuries.

7. Floss your teeth

Recent studies make a direct connection between longevity and teeth flossing. Nobody knows exactly why, but there is a connection.

8. Drinking and health

Recent studies show that a glass of wine a day can help prevent heart disease. However, remember that alcohol can cause health problems such as liver and kidney diseases and cancer.

9. Keep a positive outlook

There is a connection between the good life and having a cheerful outlook.
